He turned a small maker of vegetable oil into a USD 8.5 billion software behemoth.<\/p>\n<p>The other news was of Jack Ma retiring at age of 53. Again he created Alibaba and made history. Both of them will however continue to be on the board of their companies.-<\/p>\n<p>Jack ma retired 5 years ahead of Bill gates who retired at 58.<\/p>\n<p>This is when I realised that in this journey of life no one is ahead of you and no one is behind you. Each one of us is on our own unique journey<br \/>\nSo while you are on your professional journey &#8211; enjoy it to fullest but do not get worked up on the success or failures of your ex colleagues, batch mates etc,<\/p>\n<p>And remember age is just a number. Some achieved their success after retiring &#8211; KFC is an example.
